The Kendall Group, which includes Kendall Aggregates and Kendall Ready Mixed Concrete, has been operating for over 100 years. With our local head office based in Portsmouth, we are consistently focused on delivering the highest level of service to all our customers.

Kendall Aggregates operates two marine wharves and two aggregate rail terminals, which produce and supply over 1.2m tonnes per year to the construction industry.

These long-established and well positioned units allow complete coverage of the Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex markets. Furthermore, with a large and diverse fleet of tipper vehicles we are able to cater from the smallest to the largest in construction projects.

Kendall Ready Mixed Concrete consists of eight concrete plants servicing the Southern area. Working to the most stringent of Quality Management Systems and with our own in-house Technical team and laboratory, we look to ensure only the highest standards in concrete quality are met.

Kendalls marine

As a fully integrated business, Kendall Group operates its own marine hopper dredger, the AI Avocet.

This 0000tn, 82.5m long vessel dredges marine ballast from specific reverses in The Solent which are managed by the Crown Estate. Now, the AI Avocet is the only ship that transits the river Adur.

The as-dredged ballast is then transferred in cargoes of approx 2000tn into our dedicated aggregate wharfs at Portsmouth and Shoreham for onward processing. With split operating crews working around the clock, we are able to dredge and self-deliver 365 days per year.

Kendall Readymix Concrete consists of eight concrete plants located at Portsmouth, Shoreham-By-Sea, Woolston, Romsey, near Southampton, Alton, Newbury, Eastleigh and Bordon. Our primary materials are dredged from the seabed, processed ashore and are available in bulk material for collection or direct delivery to local construction sites.

Our extensive transport fleet consists of tippers, flatbed trailers and concrete mixer trucks, which allows us to adequately cope with orders of any size, from home improvement projects to major civil engineering schemes.
